Graphic idenity & Webdesign. This big project is a searchservice that listes all dentist in Sweden. My responsibilities trough this project has been frontend design, graphic design and building a graphic idenity.

Catrin Löfström

Webdesign. My dear friend Catrin Löfström is an excellent illustrator/artist. I helpt her with a brand new portfolio. This project will update over time as new work appears.

Products

Logotype & Webdesign. This was a broad design project, the challange was to make a design and a logotype that would work on different products domians. Examples Kaffebryggare.se, Bubbelbadkar.se, Tröja.se, Gasolgrill.se and Dunjacka.se.

Makeup.se

Graphic idenity & Webdesign. This was one of my first designs at Otilia Media and I'm very proud of the results. The assignment was to redesign Makeup.se, which is a service who gather makeup products from different webshops at one place.

Mode.se

Graphic idenity & Webdesign. This was one of my first designs at Otilia Media and I'm very proud of the results. The assignment was to redesign Mode.se, which is a service who gather fashion products from different webshops at one place.

Devote.se

Graphic design. The well-known blog portal Devote.se needed help to develop a new top navigation bar on their site. I've helped them develop a concept and design. You will find the design at the top of Devote's website.

NXT Magazine

Graphic design & Management. This was my final project in the 2nd semester at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Me and my team created a inspirational fashion magazine for women. I had the responsibility to lead the project and create the graphic concept.

Brand 0

Graphic design & Management. The brief was to create a fictitious advertising campaign for clothing label Brand 0, an exclusive brand. I was responsible for production management and graphic design.

Leonarden

Graphic idenity & Webdesign. I helped the company Leonarden with a new visual identity. The commission included a new logo, color palette, typography and image style. I also created a new website for them with the new graphic profile.

Stylage.se

Webdesign & Wordpress dev. My loyal customer Martina Ricther, needed help with a website to Stylage.se. I created the website in WordPress and gave it a clean design.

Nordiska Hem

Webdesign & Wordpress dev. Nordiska Hem Lifestyle is an interior design shop in Stockholm and I helped them with a new website. This site was my first assignment with my own company.

Funäs Ski Lodge

Webdesign. I helped the company Funäs Ski Lodge with a new website. I did everything from managing the project, concept, design and programming of their new website.

Apple Store

Graphic design & Management. The brief was to create a fictitious advertising campaign for clothing label Brand 0, an exclusive brand. I was responsible for production management and graphic design.

Case SJ

Graphic design & Management. The brief was to create a fictitious new advertising campaign for SJ. We wanted to focus on the destination rather than traveling. Me and C. Sandstrom worked together with the design.

D’Attitude

Graphic design & Management. The brief was to create a commercial, my team and I choose to do a concept for the fictitious perfume brand D'Attitude. I was responsible for management and graphic design.

Pet Talkie

Graphic design & Management. The assignment was to create a future app. Me and V. Andersson created a commercial for a fictional app, PetTalkie. I was responsible for production management and graphic design.

State of dreams, here I come

In just a few weeks I will forfill one of my biggest dreams by going to USA California, with my beloved boyfriend. I'm looking forward to get inspired by everything I see, as we road trip along the California coast. I hope to visit places and meet people that will make me a even better designer. Can't wait! Mode.se on Swedish television

Today my graphic design will have it's debut in Swedish Media. In 2012 I've made a graphical profile, logotype and website for Mode.se at Otilia Media. We have a collaboration with AIK - a swedish bandy team and today they will play the final with my logotype on their shoulders. I feel really proud over this!

New year, new opportunities

2013 has begun and it feels fun with a new year with new challenges. I have now been working full time as a Digital Designer at Otilia Media for almost 8 months and has developed tremendously during that time. Soon, I will release a few projects I've been working on during the fall / winter of 2012, so keep an eye on my portfolio. It feels like the year 2013 will be full of new challenges and inspiring events, fun!

2 years of business

I can't belevie that two years already has gone by since I've started this company. To celebrate this two year anniversary I'll made a completly new design on my website. It really feels more like me and who I am as a designer today. There are still some small thing left to do on the design, but it's a big step in the right direction. With this design I've taken on a more fashion infulensed style and I love it!

JHKarlson.com

There has been some changes at Gra-Phics.com. I've decided to change my domain to jhkarlson.com because I felt that I wanted something new. My website has been updated with a whole new design and everything is now translated to english for all my foreign followers. I hope you will enjoy the new design and soon some new stuff will appear in the section "work".

I've got hired!

A week before I finished my last project at the University, I got a full time employment! Which feels awesome after three years of studying. I'm now employed as a Digital Designer at Otilia Media, which is a media agency in Stockholm. I have now spent two weeks there and I really enjoy it! I certainly have a chance to develop myself on this agency and reach my goals as a Creative Director within a few years.

University done

My three years at Blekinge Institute of Technology are now over. I'm really grateful for these three years. I've evolved my creativity, myself and met alot of new friends. It feels a little sad that it is over, but now awaits my future in the media industry which feels awesome!

Internship Projector

After changes at Reklambanken, I decided to switch internship. I wish Anna and Anna in Reklambanken a great success in the future. Now I will spend my spring at Projector, which is a digital marketing agency on Södermalm in Stockholm. They have clients like Gallerian, Scandic, WWF and Basiron. I will help them with graphic design and webdesign. #facebook.

Relaunch

Finally Gra-Phics.com open the doors and shows a new improved appearance. Together with Claes Sandström I've been working on an updated visual identity and website for Gra-phics.com. We've kept some of the old profile, but also added a new feeling to it. For instance, the logo has been given a new more professional feeling and I'm very pleased.

Internship Reklambanken

I have now spent my first week at Reklambanken, which was started by Anna Lindstein and Anna Nilsson. It's been an exciting week with a lot of impressions and clients meetings. During the spring I will help them with production management, webdesign and graphic design while I'm doing my bachelor's work and finish my studies at Blekinge Institute of Technology. Looking forward to a busy and evolving spring.

Christmas gift

I've been doing my internship for four months at NPP Reklambyrå. As a reward for my time with them I recieved an iPad as a gift. I feel so appreciated, thanks! During these four months I have evolved so much in design and webdesign. I also have experienced how it works in the advertising industry, and I can only say that I love it. Thank you again NPP Reklambyrå.

1 year celebration

Exactly one year ago, October 1, 2010 I started my own company Gra-Phics.com. I must say that it has been a very good first year with clients such as Nordiska Hem Lifestyle, Stylage and Injectacademy. I've learned a lot during my first year as an entrepreneur, there has been a challenge to manage both a university education and professional jobs at the same time. Now I feel more professional than ever.

Internship NPP Stockholm

Today I start my internship at the advertising agency NPP Stockholm. NPP is located in four sites in Sweden, Stockholm, Örebro, Uppsala and Västerås. The Stockholm office currently has eight wonderful colleagues. During my time here, I will work with webdesign, graphic design and production management. It will be fun to spend four months at NPP Stockholm, I hope to learn as much as possible.

Last year

Today is the start of the third and final year of my university education, Digital Bildproduktion at Blekinge Institute of Technology. I'm very excited about what this year has to offer. I've moved away from Karlshamn and now I'm back in Stockholm. I will now spend my first semester at the advertising agency NPP Stockholm.
